Ce service radio ne nécessitant pas de licence est destiné à être utilisé par des familles et des groupes dans le cadre des loisirs et d'activité de jeux. L'utilisation de cette radio hors du pays ou elle a été prévue d'être commercialisée, est soumise à des réglementations gouvernementales et pourrait être prohibée. Français Pour commencer Installation des piles et des batteries FX 100 Votre FX 100 fonctionne avec 3 piles alcalines AAA uniquement. Installation des piles alcalines AAA : · Soulevez le verrouillage du capot arrière afin d'ouvrir le loquet des batteries pour libérer le couvercle des batteries. · Insérez 3 piles AAA comme indiqué dans le compartiment. · Repositionnez le capot arrière et appuyez jusqu'à ce qu'il se positionne. FX 200 Votre FX 200 fonctionne soit avec 3 piles alcalines AAA soit avec l'ensemble de batteries rechargeables fourni. Installation des piles alcalines AAA ou de l'ensemble de batteries rechargeables : · Soulevez le verrouillage du capot arrière afin de l'ouvrir. · Insérez 3 piles AAA comme indiqué dans le compartiment ou · Insérez l'ensemble de batteries fourni. · Repositionnez le capot arrière et appuyez jusqu'à ce qu'il se positionne. 3 Chargement des batteries du FX 200 Français Veillez à ne pas démonter ou ouvrir l'ensemble de batteries. Pour charger l'ensemble des batteries rechargeables : · Insérez une des fiches jack de la prise d'alimentation se trouvant sous le FX 200. · Branchez l'alimentation secteur dans la prise murale (220 v). Alimentation secteur · Les voyants de l'alimentation secteur s'allument. Si les voyants de l'alimentation secteur ne s'allument pas, cela indique que les batteries ont été mal insérées. Changez les batteries de sens. Remarque : pour que l'ensemble de batteries ait une autonomie optimale, retirez la radio au bout de 16 heures. Ne gardez pas les batteries en charge au-delà, car les voyants ne clignotent pas ou ne s'éteignent pas pour indiquer que la charge est complète. Attention : Votre radio émet un bip lorsque les piles sont faibles. Important : Enlevez les batteries ou les piles avant de mettre votre radio de côté pendant des périodes prolongées. Les batteries se corrodent avec le temps et peuvent causer un endommagement permanent de votre radio. Faites attention lors de la manipulation des batteries lorsqu'elles fuient. Déposez les batteries ou les piles usagées à la déchetterie ou dans une boîte de récupération pour batteries ou piles et non pas dans les ordures ménagères. Renseignez-vous auprès de votre revendeur pour connaître les dispositions spéciales pour leur recyclage. Comment mettre la radio en marche et l'arrêter · Pour la mise en marche, appuyez et maintenez jusqu'à ce que la radio émette un bip et qu'un numéro de canal apparaisse. · Pour éteindre, appuyez et maintenez jusqu'à ce que la radio émette un bip et que l'écran devienne vide. Concerne uniquement le FX 200 : prise d'alimentation permettant de charger les batteries. 5 Français Réglage du Volume Français Appuyez sur pour augmenter ou sur sur PTT pour confirmer. pour diminuer le volume. Le niveau du volume clignote et v s'affiche. Appuyez Réglage du Canal Votre radio a 8 canaux. Si vous faites partie d'un groupe et que vous voulez parler entre vous, toutes les radios doivent être réglées sur le même canal. S'il y a des interférences et que vous devez changer de canal, assurez-vous que vous changez le canal de toutes les radios de votre groupe. · Appuyez brièvement et relâchez le numéro du canal clignote. · Appuyez sur ou pour choisir un canal. · Appuyez sur PTT pour confirmer. MENU Règle d'usage de la radio La bonne règle d'usage de la radio est de surveiller le canal pour en déterminer l'activité avant une transmission afin de vous assurer que vous n'interrompez pas d'autres utilisateurs se trouvant déjà sur le canal. Appuyez trois fois sur pour vérifier l'activité du canal. Si vous entendez des parasites, le canal est prêt à l'emploi. MENU Pour Parler Pour parler, appuyez et maintenez enfoncer le bouton PTT. Lorsque vous avez fini de parler, relâchez le bouton PTT et la radio émettra un bip (tonalité de confirmation de parler). Pour une clarté maximale, tenez la radio à une distance de 5 à 7 cm de votre bouche et parlez directement dans le microphone. Ne couvrez pas le microphone quand vous parlez. Pour Ecouter Assurez-vous que vous n'appuyez pas sur la Touche PTT. Règler le volume si nécessaire à l'aide des touches et . Envoyer une tonalité d'appel La tonalité d'appel prévient les autres que vous voulez parler. Pour envoyer la tonalité d'appel à d'autres radios dans votre groupe, appuyez sur . 6 Balayage Utilisez le balayage pour surveiller les transmissions des canaux ou pour trouver quelqu'un dans votre groupe qui a accidentellement changé de canal. · Appuyez deux fois sur jusqu'à ce que l'affichage montre et un ou clignotant · Appuyez sur ou jusqu'à ce que s'affiche pour allumer le balayage · Appuyez sur ou jusqu'à ce que s'affiche pour éteindre le balayage · Appuyez sur PTT pour confirmer Lorsque la radio détecte une activité de canal, elle arrête de balayer et vous pouvez écouter la transmission. Pour répondre, appuyez sur PTT dans les 5 secondes. Pour la retirer · Faire levier entre la partie supérieure de la face avant et le capot arrière en exerçant la force vers l'avant. · Dégagez délicatement la face avant en commençant par la partie supérieure, puis par la partie inférieure pour libérer les onglets de la face avant de la radio. Pour la fixer · Réinsérer les onglets de la face avant dans le boîtier. · Appuyez pour enclencher la face avant. Face avant du FX 100 / 200 8 Informations Supplémentaires Portée de la conversation Votre radio a été conçue pour maximiser les performances et améliorer la plage de transmission sur le terrain. Il est recommandé que vous n'utilisiez pas les radios à moins de 1,5 mètres l'une de l'autre pour éviter les interférences. La portée de la conversation dépend du terrain. Elle sera affectée par les structures de béton, les feuillages touffus et par l'utilisation de radios à l'intérieur de bâtiments ou dans des véhicules. Distance Optimale Dehors Terrains plats, ouverts Distance Moyenne Dehors Bâtiments ou arbres Aussi près de bâtiments résidentiels Distance Minimale Dehors Feuillage dense ou montagnes Aussi à l'intérieur de certains bâtiments Français Une portée optimale se rencontre dans les zones plates, ouvertes, s'étalant jusqu'à 3 kilomètres. Une plage moyenne est rencontrée lorsque des bâtiments et des arbres bloquent la transmission. La plage est minimale lorsque des feuillages et des montagnes bloquent le chemin de communication. 9 Dépannage Français Pas d'affichage ou affichage erroné · Repositionnez, remplacez ou rechargez les batteries. Changez d'emplacement. · Vérifier que le volume à été augmenté. Présence d'une autre conversation ou de bruit sur le canal · Un canal partagé peut être en cours d'utilisation, essayez-en un autre. Portée de la conversation limitée · Des structures d'acier ou de béton, des feuillages denses et l'utilisation de la radio dans des bâtiments et dans des véhicules diminueront la portée. Vérifiez que la visibilité n'est pas obstruée pour améliorer la transmission. · Le port de la radio près du corps comme dans une poche ou sur une ceinture diminuera la portée. Changez l'emplacement de la radio Fortes charges statiques ou interférences · Les radios sont trop proches l'une de l'autre. Les radios doivent se trouver à au moins 1,5 mètre de distance. · Les radios sont trop espacées. Les obstacles perturbent la transmission 10 Utilisation et soins Pour nettoyer la radio : · Utilisez un chiffon doux et humide. · Ne l'immergez pas dans l'eau. · N'utilisez pas d'alcool ou de solvants de nettoyage. Si la radio devient mouillée : · Arrêtez la radio et retirez les piles. · Séchez avec un chiffon doux. · Les contacts de l'ensemble des batteries peuvent être essuyés avec un chiffon sec, non pelucheux. · N'utilisez pas la radio tant qu'elle n'est pas complètement sèche. Pour avoir le droit de recevoir un service de garantie, vous devez présenter votre récépissé d'achat ou une autre preuve comparable portant la date de l'achat. La radio devra également afficher clairement le numéro de série. Utilisation d'une radio portable et exposition à l'énergie électromagnétique (EME) Antenne Utilisez uniquement l'antenne fournie ou un modèle de remplacement agréé. Toute antenne, modification ou accessoire non agréé peut endommager le portatif et enfreindre la réglementation sur l'exposition à l'énergie électromagnétique. NE tenez PAS le portatif par l'antenne pendant son fonctionnement. Tenir l'antenne affecte la portée efficace. Français 13 Français Utilisation en mode talkie-walkie Pour utiliser votre portatif comme un talkie-walkie conventionnel, tenez-le en position verticale avec le microphone placé entre 2,5 et 5 cm de votre bouche. Fonctionnement en mode données Le cas échéant, lorsqu'une fonction de transfert de données est utilisée, avec ou sans un câble accessoire, la radio et son antenne doivent être placées à une distance supérieure a 2,5 cm du corps. Cette recommandation concorde avec les travaux de recherche réalisés par l'administration américaine [US Food & Drug Administration] et avec les recommandations formulées par cette dernière. Les personnes qui portent un stimulateur cardiaque doivent : · TOUJOURS maintenir la radio à plus de 15 cm (6 pouces de leur stimulateur cardiaque lorsque la radio est mise sous tension). · Eviter de transporter le portatif dans une poche de poitrine. · Placer le portatif au niveau de l'oreille opposée au stimulateur cardiaque afin de réduire la possibilité de brouillage. · ETEINDRE la radio immédiatement si elles ont des raisons de soupçonner la présence d'interférences. Appareils médicaux - Aides auditives Certaines radios peuvent entraîner le brouillage de certains appareils auditifs. Si tel est le cas, vous pouvez consulter le fabricant de l'appareil auditif pour discuter d'autres solutions possibles. Autres appareils médicaux En cas d'utilisation de tout autre appareil médical personnel, veuillez consulter le fabricant de l'appareil pour déterminer s'il est suffisamment protégé contre les sources externes d'énergie RF. Sécurité et utilisation dans un véhicule Vérifiez les lois et les règlements en vigueur relatifs à l'utilisation des radios dans les zones ou vous devez conduire. Lorsque vous utilisez la radio en conduisant, vous devez vous ranger sur l'accotement avant de faire un appel ou d'y répondre. 15 Français Avertissements lors de l'utilisation d'une radio Français Véhicules équipés de sacs gonflables de sécurité Ne placez pas de radio portative dans la zone au-dessus du sac gonflable de sécurité ou dans sa zone de déploiement. Un sac gonflable de sécurité se déploie avec beaucoup de force. Milieux potentiellement déflagrants Eteignez le portatif avant de pénétrer dans un milieu potentiellement déflagrant, sauf si la radio est de type « à sécurité intrinsèque » spécialement conçu pour l'utilisation dans un tel milieu. Evitez d'enlever, de remplacer ou de recharger les piles dans un tel milieu. La production d'étincelles dans un milieu potentiellement déflagrant risque de déclencher une explosion ou un incendie pouvant entraîner des blessures, voire la mort. Attention : Les milieux potentiellement déflagrants auxquels il est fait référence sont notamment les zones d'approvisionnement en carburant situées sous le pont d'une embarcation, les installations de transfert ou d'entrepôts de carburant ainsi que les milieux dont l'atmosphère peut contenir des produits chimiques, sous forme de particules, vapeurs, gaz, poussières ou poudres métalliques, ainsi que toute autre zone ou il vous est généralement demandé d'arrêter le moteur de votre véhicule. Les milieux potentiellement déflagrants sont habituellement, mais pas toujours, clairement identifiés. Zone de dynamitage et de détonateurs Eteignez le portatif lorsque vous vous trouvez à proximité de détonateurs électriques ou dans une zone de dynamitage afin d'éviter de déclencher une explosion, ou lorsque vous vous trouvez dans un endroit où il est indiqué : « éteignez les émetteurs récepteurs ». Respectez tous les panneaux et toutes les instructions. 16 Antennes N'utilisez pas de portatif dont l'antenne est endommagée. Vous risquez de vous brûler légèrement si votre peau entre en contact avec une antenne endommagée. Piles ou batteries Toutes les piles ou batteries peuvent provoquer des dégâts ou des blessures si un objet conducteur (par exemple, un bijou, des clés ou un bracelet métallique) touche les bornes de contact dénudées. Sont exclues de cette garantie, les détériorations dues à une cause étrangère à l'appareil. En particulier, la garantie ne s'applique pas si l'appareil a été endommagé à la suite d'un choc ou d'une chute, d'une fausse manoeuvre, d'un branchement non conforme aux instructions mentionnées dans la notice, d'une protection insuffisante contre la chaleur, l'humidité ou le gel. La garantie s'étend uniquement à la France métropolitaine. En tout état de cause, la garantie légale pour vices cachés s'appliquera conformément aux articles 1641 et suivants du Code Civil. This unlicensed 2 way radio service is intended for use by families and groups for leisure activities, games, etc. Radio use outside of the country in which it is intended for sale is subject to governmental regulations and may be prohibited. Please read this manual carefully and ensure that you are familiar with the radio's functions before using. Set up Installing batteries FX 100 The FX 100 2-way radio only operates with three AAA alkaline batteries. Installing the AAA alkaline batteries: · Push the locking mechanism of the rear cover upwards to open the catch and release the battery cover. · Insert three AAA batteries into the compartment as indicated. · Replace the rear cover and push down until it clicks into place. FX 200 The FX 200 2 way radio operates with three AAA alkaline batteries or with the rechargeable batteries supplied. Installing the AAA alkaline batteries or the rechargeable batteries · Push the locking mechanism of the rear cover to open it. · Insert three AAA batteries into the compartment as indicated or · Insert the battery set supplied. · Replace the rear cover and push down until it clicks into place. 23 English Charging the batteries of the FX 200 Do not dismantle or open the battery unit. To charge the rechargeable batteries: · Insert one of the jack plugs from the supply plug underneath the FX 200. · Plug into the wall plug (220 V). · The lights on the `power LED' flash. If the LED do not flash, the batteries have been incorrectly installed. Check the polarity of the batteries and if necessary turn them around. English Alimentation secteur Note : remove the radio after 16 hours to ensure that the batteries attain their maximum life. Do not charge the batteries beyond this period, because the lights will not flash or turn off to indicate that the batteries have been charged. Caution : Your radio will emit a beep when the cells are running low. NB : Remove the batteries if not using the 2 way radio for a long period. Batteries corrode with time and may permanently damage the 2 way radio. Pay particular attention when dealing with leaking batteries. Dispose of used batteries at a waste collection centre or in a recycling container for batteries, and not in a domestic rubbish bin. Portable radio use and exposure to electromagnetic energy (EME) Aerial Only the aerial supplied with the 2 way radio or an approved replacement model should be used. Data mode operation When the data transfer function is being used, with or without an accessory cable, the radio and its aerial must be held further than 2.5 cm away from the body. Electromagnetic interference/compatibility Note : the majority of electronic appliances are sensitive to electromagnetic interference (EMI) in the event of insufficient protection, design or configuration regarding electromagnetic compatibility. Locations To avoid interference caused by electromagnetic radiation, turn off the radio when requested to do so by a public sign or an official. Your doctor can help obtain such information. Safety and use in a vehicle Drivers must check the laws and regulations relative to the use of 2 way radios in the areas where they are driving. Always observe these laws and regulations strictly. If you wish to use the radio when driving, stop and park on the shoulder of the road before sending or responding. 35 English Medical Equipment - Pacemakers The Advanced Medical Technology Association recommends that radios should be held at more than 15cm. (6 inches) from a pacemaker. This is in accordance with research undertaken by the US Food & Drug Administration and their recommendations. Those with pacemakers fitted must: · ALWAYS hold the radio at more than 15cm. (6 inches) from their pacemaker when the radio is turned on. · Avoid carrying the 2 way radio in a chest pocket. · Hold the 2 way radio to the ear on the opposite side of the body to the pacemaker, to reduce the possibility of interference. · TURN OFF the radio immediately if there is reason to suspect the presence of interference. Recommendations for use Vehicles equipped with inflatable airbags. Do not place the radio in the area above the inflatable airbag or in the airbag deployment area. The opening of a safety airbag is very strong. If the radio is placed in the airbag deployment area and the airbag opens, the 2 way radio may be propelled with significant force and cause serious injury to the vehicle occupants. Explosion-risk areas Turn off the radio before entering areas where explosions may occur, except if the 2 way radio is of the `built-in safety' type specially designed for use in such areas. Avoid removing, replacing or recharging batteries in such an area. Resulting sparks may cause an explosion or a fire that could lead to injury or even death in an explosion-risk area. English 36 Operating Precautions Aerials Do not use 2 way radios with damaged aerials. The skin may be mildly burnt if exposed to a damaged aerial. Batteries Batteries can cause damage and injury if a conducting object (for example, jewellery, keys or a metal bracelet) touches the exposed areas. The conducting object may create a short-circuit in this situation and become extremely hot. Empty or charged batteries must be handled with care, especially when placed in pockets, bags or into any other container for metal objects. NEVER TRY TO recharge the batteries themselves as they may explode and cause personal injury or damage the 2 way radio. Als de lampjes niet gaan branden, is de accuset niet goed geplaatst. Controleer de positie. Netvoeding Opmerking : Voor een optimale autonomie van de accuset, moet de acculader na 16 uur worden losgekoppeld. De lampjes gaan niet uit of knipperen als het maximale laadniveau is bereikt.
