FR - TÉLÉCOMMANDE UNIVERSELLE 2 en 1 AVANT PROPOS Nous vous remercions d'avoir choisi une télécommande universelle Métronic et sommes persuadés qu'elle vous donnera entière satisfaction. Les modèles ZAP 2/3/4/5/6 permettent de piloter 2 à 6 appareils : TV, récepteur satellite (SAT), magnétoscope (VCR), lecteur DVD ou chaîne Hi-Fi, TNT selon les cas. Après avoir mis les piles 1.5V AAA (non fournies) dans l'emplacement prévu à cet effet, vous pourrez installer votre télécommande pour chaque type d'appareil à commander. La télécommande universelle Métronic est conçue pour commander la plupart des appareils de chaque marque. Pour cela, vous avez le choix entre deux méthodes d'installation : par code Marque ou par recherche automatique. Dans les procédures ci-dessous, nous donnons un exemple pour le téléviseur (TV). Pour installer, par exemple, votre magnétoscope ou votre récepteur satellite, remplacez «TV» par «VCR» ou «SAT». Après l'installation, il suffit d'appuyer sur la touche TV, SAT, VCR, etc. pour sélectionner un appareil puis le piloter en appuyant sur la touche désirée. A - Installation par code Marque 1 - Allumez votre téléviseur. 2 - Recherchez dans les pages suivantes les codes qui correspondent à la marque de votre téléviseur. Ex: pour un téléviseur AEG, vous allez essayer le code 0540, puis 1423 si le premier ne fonctionne pas, puis 0513 si aucun des deux premiers codes ne fonctionne. 3 - Pressez la touche SET, puis, tout en maintenant cette touche SET enfoncée, pressez la touche TV pendant quelques secondes, jusqu'à ce que le voyant s'allume. Relâchez les deux touches, le voyant reste allumé. Si vous attendez trop longtemps sans appuyer sur une touche, la télécommande sort du mode de programmation et le voyant s'éteint. Reprenez alors au début de l'étape 3. 4 - Entrez un des codes Marque à quatre chiffres. A chaque chiffre, le voyant s'éteint brièvement. Le voyant s'éteint définitivement après avoir entré le 4ème chiffre. Si le voyant clignote deux fois puis reste allumé, passez au code suivant. 5 - Dirigez la télécommande vers votre téléviseur et essayez les fonctions principales (changement de chaîne, réglage volume...). 6 - Si la télécommande ne pilote pas correctement le téléviseur, recommencez la procédure (à partir de 3) avec le code Marque suivant. Si la télécommande pilote correctement le téléviseur, l'installation est terminée. Si aucun code marque ne donne satisfaction, passez à la recherche automatique. B - Installation par recherche automatique 1 - Allumez votre téléviseur. Étant donné que la recherche peut prendre un certain temps (de quelques minutes à un quart d'heure) installez-vous confortablement devant le téléviseur. 2 - Pressez la touche SET, puis, tout en maintenant cette touche SET enfoncée, pressez la touche TV pendant quelques secondes, jusqu'à ce que le voyant s'allume. Relâchez les deux touches, le voyant reste allumé. 3 - Appuyez sur la touche SET, le voyant se met à clignoter. Pressez et maintenez enfoncée la touche , le voyant s'éteint. Maintenez la pression jusqu'à ce que le voyant se remette à clignoter lentement. La recherche automatique vient de démarrer, le voyant reste allumé et clignote à chaque fois que la télécommande essaie un nouveau code. Tenez-vous prêt à appuyer sur la touche 0. 4 - Dès que le téléviseur s'éteint, appuyez sur la touche 0, le voyant se met à clignoter. Appuyez sur la touche TV, le voyant s'éteint. Note : vous devez être suffisamment rapide (moins d'une seconde) pour que la télécommande ne soit pas passée au code suivant. 5 - Puisque le téléviseur s'est éteint, rallumez-le avec la télécommande d'origine ou avec les touches en face avant. 6 - Dirigez la télécommande vers votre téléviseur et essayez les fonctions principales (changement de chaîne, réglage volume...). Si le téléviseur réagit mal ou pas du tout aux touches de fonctions, poursuivez la recherche automatique en reprenant à l'étape 2. Si la télécommande pilote correctement le téléviseur, l'installation est terminée. Changement de piles Lorsque la portée de la télécommande diminue, ou que la télécommande présente des dysfonctionnements, c'est probablement parce que les piles doivent être changées. Grâce à sa sauvegarde dans une mémoire interne, vous pouvez changer les piles sans perdre vos réglages. After inserting the 1.5V AAA batteries (not included) in the remote, you can set up the remote for each appliance that you wish to control. The universal Metronic remote has been conceived to control most products of each brand. This is why you have the choice between 2 types of set ups : by Brand code or by automatic search. In the set up details below, we use a TV as example. In order to set up the remote for your VCR or satellite receiver, replace `TV' with `VCR' or `SAT'. After you have set up the remote, simply press the TV, SAT, VCR etc key to select the appliance you wish to control. A - Set up by brand code 1 - Switch on your TV. 2 - Look up in the following pages the codes that correspond to the brand of your TV (i.e. for AEG, you should try the code 0540, then 1423 if the first code does not work, and finally 0513 if none of the two first codes work). 3 - Press the SET and TV keys together for a few seconds until the light switches on. If you wait too long before pressing another key, the remote will go into standby and the light will switch off. You should then start at Step 3. 4 - Enter one of the 4-digit Brand codes. After each digit, the light will briefly switch off. It will switch off for good after you have entered the 4th digit. If the light blinks twice and then stays on, try the next code. 5 - Point the remote towards your TV and try using the main features (changing channels, adjusting sound...) 6 - If the remote does not control the TV properly, try the set up again (from 3) with the next Brand code. If the remote controls the TV correctly, then the set up is over. If the remote does not work properly with any code, you should try an automatic search. B - Automatic Search 1 - Switch on your TV. The automatic search might take a little while (up to 15 minutes). 2 - Press the SET and TV keys together for a few seconds until the light switches on. When you release the keys the light should stay on. 3 - Press the SET key. The light should start blinking. Press the key until the light switches off and slowly starts blinking again. This means the automatic search has started. The light should stay on and blink every time a new code is entered. You should be ready to press the 0 key. 4 - As soon as the TV switches off, press the 0 key. The light should start blinking. Press the TV key. The light should switch off. N.B. : You should be quick enough (less than one second) to ensure the remote does not start working on the next code. 5 - As your TV is now switched off, switch it on again using the original remote or with the front keys. 6 - Point the remote towards your TV and try using the main features (changing channels, adjusting sound...) If the remote does not control the TV properly, try the automatic set up again (from 2). If the remote controls the TV correctly, then the set up is over. Changing batteries When the remote starts struggling to control the appliances or if it does not work properly, you should try changing batteries. Thanks to its memory function, you can change batteries withouht losing your settings on the remote. NL - UNIVERSELE AFSTANDSBEDIENING 2 in 1 VOORWOORD Wij bedanken u om een universele afstandsbediening Métronic gekozen te hebben en zijn overtuigd die zij u gehele tevredenheid zal geven. De ZAP 2/3/4/5/6 modellen kunnen 2 tot 6 toestellen bedienen : TV, satelliet ontvanger (SAT), VHS recorder (VCR), DVD speler of HiFi keten , DVB-T (TNT). Na de stapels 1.5V AAA (niet geleverd) in de met het oog hierop voorziene plaats gezet te hebben, zult u uw afstandsbediening voor elk te bepalen soort apparaat kunnen plaatsen. De universele afstandsbediening Métronic wordt ontworpen om het merendeel van de apparaten van elk merk te beheren. Daarvoor hebt u de keus tussen twee methoden van installatie: door code Merk of door automatisch onderzoek. In de procedures hieronder, geven wij een voorbeeld voor de televisie (TV). Om, bijvoorbeeld, uw videorecorder of uw bijkomende ontvanger te plaatsen, vervangt ,,TV" door ,,VCR" of ,,SAT". Na de installatie, voldoet het om op de toets TV te drukken, SAT, VCR, enz om een apparaat te selecteren vervolgens het beheren door op de verlangde toets te drukken. A - Installatie per merk code 1 - Zet uw televisie aan. 2 - Beoogt in de volgende bladzijdes de codes die met het merk van uw televisie overeenstemmen. Laat beide toetsen vrij, het controlelampje blijft aangestoken. Als u te lang zonder op een toets te drukken wacht, schakelt de afstandsbediening zich uit de programmeringsmode en het controlelampje zet zich uit. Herneemt dan aan het begin van de etappe 3. 4 - Tip een van de codes Merk met vier cijfers in. AAN elk cijfer, blust het controlelampje zich kort. Als het controlelampje twee keer vervolgens blijft aangestoken flikkert, gaat tot de volgende code over. 5 - Leidt de afstandsbediening naar uw televisie en probeert de hoofdfuncties (verandering van keten, regelen volume...). 6 - Als de afstandsbediening de televisie niet juist beheert, de procedure (vanaf 3) met de volgende code Merk opnieuw beginnen. Als de afstandsbediening de televisie juist beheert, wordt de installatie beëindigd. Als geen enkele code tevredenheid geeft, gaat tot het automatische onderzoek over. B - Installatie per automatische opzoek 1 - Steek uw televisie aan. Aangezien het opzoek een enige tijd kan nemen (van enkele minuten aan een kwartier), neem plaats comfortabel voor uw televisie. 2 - druk op de toets SET, vervolgens, deze ingeslagen toets SET handhavend, druk op de toets TV gedurende enkele sec, totdat het controlelampje zich aansteekt. Als de televisie slecht reageert of geenszins aan de toetsen van functies, het automatische onderzoek voortzet door aan de etappe 2 te hernemen. Als de afstandsbediening de televisie juist beheert, wordt de installatie beëindigd. Verandering van batterijen Wanneer de reikwijdte van de afstandsbediening, vermindert of dat de aanwezige afstandsbediening van de stoornissen, is het waarschijnlijk omdat de batterijen veranderd moeten worden. Dank zij zijn bescherming in een intern geheugen, kunt u de batterijen veranderen zonder uw regelen te verliezen.
